Moving away from short-term aid, we opted for long-term backing of the organisations driving change in their communities. Since 2004, we have stood behind more than 224 local organisations across Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine – because we believe those closest to a challenge are the ones who can solve it. We provide funding, training, strategic guidance and the connections that turn a promising organisation into a lasting one. In doing so, we work alongside organisations transforming access to education, employment and income-generation for women, young people and children across the Arab region.

Alfanar's sister entity, Anara Impact Capital is a MENA-focused impact venture capital fund investing in Seed and Series A startups building solutions in learning, wellbeing, and climate. The firm backs founders addressing some of the region’s most pressing challenges while serving large, underserved markets with global relevance. Domiciled in the Netherlands and aligned with SFDR Article 8 standards, Anara ensures transparent and rigorous evaluation of impact outcomes across its portfolio.

Unomena is an international software studio building digital platforms for impact-driven and growth-stage companies. From Cape Town, we deliver web and mobile applications across fintech, social enterprise, and telecom sectors globally. Dignified work, livelihoods, and pathways to economic participation, particularly for young people, women, and communities that formal systems have left behind.
Climate
Practical, land-connected solutions for resilience and resource stewardship, built from local knowledge of the region's soils, seasons, and vulnerabilities.
Education
Learning that responds to disrupted realities, not just expanding access, but rethinking what education is for and what it produces.
Heritage
Culture and identity not as relics to be preserved, but as living sources of economic power, sovereign expression, and community cohesion. The olive tree as economy, not only a symbol.
Wellbeing
Holistic care, mental health, financial stability, access to quality services, understood as foundational to everything else the impact movement is trying to build.

Day 1 | Roots and Reinvention
From the traditions of waqf and communal solidarity to the growing movement for evidence, investment, and locally-led systems change. Day 1 explores where impact in the Arab world has come from, and what it is becoming. A plenary gathering at The Landmark Hotel in Amman, with breakout conversations and an exhibition of social enterprises from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine.

Day 2 | Impact in Motion
The Summit moves into the streets. Across multiple cultural and social enterprise spaces in Jabal Amman, investors, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, ecosystem leaders and everyday people will gather in the spaces that are themselves part of the story: heritage sites and enterprises that prove what becomes possible when culture and economic purpose are held together.
